Car registries have always been a great way to gather information on rare or limited production cars. In addition to creating an invaluable database, they also let owners share their car’s history and get them more involved in the hobby.

Both the California Special Registry run by Paul M. Newitt and the High Country Special Registry run by Bob Teets have done a remarkable job of tracking down many of these rare cars.
